Position part-time approximately 24 hours per week. Clinic hours are 8:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday through Friday, and 8:00 am to 4:00 pm Saturday. This position may be scheduled to work any of the days the clinic is open (Monday through Saturday – including holidays) and is scheduled to arrive 15 minutes before opening and scheduled leave one hour after closing but may leave earlier if work is complete. Education and Experience Requirements
High school diploma
Experience in customer service
Experience in health care office preferred
Excellent customer service providing a warm welcome to all callers, patients, coworkers, and visitors
They answer, screen, and route incoming calls and provide needed information.
Schedule, cancel, reschedule and confirm appointments.
Create accounts for new patients.
Update patient information. (name, address, phone number, insurance information, etc.)
Check patients in and out.
Make any needed follow-up appointments.
Daily scan any patient information that comes into the office by fax, mail, and hand-delivered into the EMR/EDR then give the original to the appropriate provider.
Responsible for daily cleaning of the front office area and waiting room.
Responsible for incoming faxes, mail, and all documents given to the Clinic by patients. Scan into EMR/EDR and/or distribute to the appropriate place for review.
Assist the back-office staff with faxing and following up on appointments.
Fully comply with the clinic compliance program.
Enter new CPT/CPD codes & prices for all fee schedules as needed.
Review Laboratory invoices for accuracy, and correct them if needed.
Other duties as assigned.
